This establishment has been operating for the past 10 years. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Their homemade Cinnamon Rolls are one of my favorite treats, along with other delicious desserts. The food has the right amount of flavor to be enjoyed.
Very busy, small cafe. Luckily, they had a table for 2 when we walked in so we were seated right away. However, the table was too small for our order. I didn’t realize the pancakes were so big. Haha. The food was okay. Potatoes were flavorless. They offer Tabasco, salt and pepper packets which helped. The staff is very friendly and were so quick to refill our waters without being asked. They stopped by a lot to check on us. Fair price for the amount of food we received.
Was looking for a breakfast place close to the place we're staying at. Found this place via Yelp. Great reviews. My group ordered the local style breakfast plate, Loco moco, meat lovers omelet, and the kids had chocolate chip pancakes. If passing by Hawaii again, I would definitely recommend this place. There is a line to eat breakfast and we waited over 30 min. That's OK. It was worth it. Also, their coffee was unlimited. That is a plus.
Rise and Shine offers a gastronomic haven where breakfast transcends the ordinary. Their Eggs Benedict, a culinary masterpiece, boasts perfectly poached eggs atop English muffins, draped in silky hollandaise sauce. The genius lies in the harmonious marriage of flavors, as the richness of the hollandaise complements the subtle textures of the muffins and eggs.
The loco moco mix adds a daring twist to the experience. This fusion of bold flavors infuses a sense of adventure, with a delightful interplay of savory and umami notes that dance on the palate. It's a journey through culinary landscapes, leaving patrons with a lingering desire for more.
Yet, the star of our morning symphony is the homemade granola. Crafted with care, this granola is a revelation of crunch and sweetness. Each bite is a sensorial delight, with the earthy notes of nuts and grains blending seamlessly with the sweetness of dried fruits. The result is a breakfast sensation that transcends the mundane, setting a new standard for morning indulgence.
Rise and Shine, doesn’t just serve breakfast; they have crafted an experience that elevates the morning ritual into a celebration of flavor, texture, and creativity. The
culinary journey that promises to awaken your senses and redefine your breakfast expectations.
The food was good tasting, the coffee taste was perfect and could not stop getting more. All the servers came to our table at least once. We also had the Cinnamon Sugar Bread pudding,"AWESOME." Great place for breakfast, next is lunch.
Absolutely enjoyed our sunday breakfast. The french toast and loco moco benedict was tasty and large enough to share. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. Go early as the dine in area is small.
We went here on the recommendation of a friend. It was nice to go someplace where the prices weren’t at the tourist level.
We tried several meals, all of them were delicious and large portions. We left very full. The banana pancakes were nearly the size of the plate!
The place is small but we were there at about 9:30 and were able to be immediately seated. The waitress was nice and attentive.
Got a take out Breakfast Burrito. Prices got raised, so it was $8.50 before tax. Still delicious. Absolutely coming back for that burrito again.
